Chabad of Peabody Soft Shul Launch
Please join us as we cautiously and optimistically start to reopen our shul for Shabbat morning services.
It is with optimism, caution, and joy that we begin the process of carefully reopening our shul. With the help of our committed COVID-19 Taskforce, we have put a variety of safety measures in place to ensure the health and well-being of all of our members.
For now, we will be limiting our Shabbat morning services to only 30 people. Please sign up using the form below if you would like to join us for the next Shabbos service.
The service will run from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.
The following safety measures will be in place:
In keeping with recommended guidelines, there will be no food or drink (no kiddush) served.
All attendees will be required to wear face masks throughout the duration of the service and while on shul property.
We will not be holding a children's program, and the playground will be closed. While children are allowed to attend, they must remain seated with a parent for the duration of the service and must wear face masks.
In order to protect vulnerable members of our community we ask that very young children and members over 65 not attend.
Hand sanitizer will be available. All attendees will be required to sanitize their hands upon entering the area for the service.
Gloves will be provided for those who wish to use them. They will not be mandatory.
No prayer shawls will be available, and you are encouraged to bring your own Siddur. If you cannot provide your own Siddur, please check the box below.
All potential attendees need to be aware that you cannot attend if in the last 14 days you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for coronavirus, or anyone displaying symptoms of coronavirus, if you have traveled outside of the state in the past 14 days, or if you are showing symptoms of coronavirus yourself, including symptoms typical of a common cold or influenza.
