A Survivors Story Discussion with Rabbi Zippel

  • ISurvived But I Also Thrived - An Abuse Survivor Shares

    Monday, June 29th at 7:30pm
    With Rabbi Avremi Zippel

Rabbi Avremi Zippel is a Utah-raised Rabbi, serving the local community since 2014. In February 2019, Avremi testified about the decade of childhood sexual abuse he endured at the hands of his family's babysitter, as part of the criminal proceedings against her. His testimony made him the first Orthodox Rabbi to ever speak out publicly on such a topic and sparked his career as an advocate and activist for survivors of sexual abuse around the world. Rabbi Zippel is a program director and spiritual leader at Chabad of Utah, together with his wife Sheina.
